The CIRCULAR REPUBLIC FESTIVAL 2025 is Europe’s leading event for advancing the circular economy, uniting corporates, start-ups, and innovators driving this transformation. Taking place on May 22–23, 2025, at the Munich Urban Colab, the festival offers diverse formats to explore practical solutions and best practices for implementing circular economy principles. This year’s theme, “Build Your Competitive Advantage,” focuses on the strategic and economic benefits of transitioning to circular business models, while also highlighting the ecological impact of this transformation.
The festival offers a range of formats, from expert talks on two stages, where CEOs, scientists, and politicians share best practices, to hands-on workshops where participants can build competencies and explore practical applications of circular solutions. The Start-up Area showcases cutting-edge ideas, featuring pitches for the Circular Start-up Awards in six different categories and opportunities to connect with promising ventures. A special highlight is the Circular Hackfest, where talented students and innovators develop circular products over the course of a week, presenting their results at the festival.
